I'm close to launch my first app (iPad) in the App Store, and would really appreciate if you could share some insights from when you launched an app. What where your biggest mistakes? What would you do different next time? What worked well?

certainly not curating the the App Store presentation. pay a lot of attention to all the elements you can control, especially screenshots, icon and keywords.
