Crowdtilt seeks summer intern to hack on our open-source tool, Crowdhoster.com
It's a free, self-hostable, themeable, international, and customizable crowdfunding platform. We think of it as a WordPress for crowdfunding.
You may have unwittingly come across it in the past week here on HN: Soylent's pre-sale campaign has raised $375k in 8 days, and it's fully built on Crowdhoster.
We don't know quite how big this project can get, but it's clear that it deserves more than being just a one-man side project (we currently have over 600 invite requests from project creators around the world waiting for beta access). And with the inbound demand, there are tons of feature requests and updates we'd love to push, but we haven't had the time.
If you want to come and own a Rails project over the summer, and work with an 18-person engineering team (with a hacker-focused culture and all the resources, free meals, hardware, and perks of a young, rapidly-growing startup), send an email to interns@crowdtilt.com and get paid to work on an open-source rails project with us at Crowdtilt (YC W12).
