GinzaMetrics is actively seeking to fill the position of DevOps engineer in our growing team for either our Raleigh, NC or San Francisco, CA office.

This position includes both new development and operational problem resolution, along with supporting functions like release automation, test automation, debugging tool development, and much more. You aren't expected to have an understanding of all these areas, however you should have a solid grasp of and desire to work in multiple areas of our technology stack.

You should:

- Have a passion for technology

- Enjoy working in an agile, fast-moving, ever-changing environment

- Welcome and take on technical challenges of all shapes and sizes

- Have a broad understanding of development, operations, hardware, SDLC, QA, bug tracking, server operations, etc.

- Be open to working with and learning new technologies seeing problems through to resolution

- Be willing to travel to San Francisco, CA as needed, likely no more than 3-4 trips total annually

- Have excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work with a fast paced and dedicated team

You must demonstrate solid working knowledge of:

- Any mainstream object oriented or scripting programming language, ideally Ruby/Rake, Python, C, C# or Powershell

- The SQL language and/or SQL-based relational database system(s) (i.e. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)

- NoSQL based database system(s) (i.e. MongoDB, CouchDB, Redis, Cassandra...etc.)

- Multiple HTTP infrastructure and/or services (Nginx, Apache, Tomcat...etc.)

- Continuous integration tool(s) (i.e. Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity...etc.)
