Ask HN: Anyone in Portland - What's the job market like?

I'm seriously considering moving to Portland, OR next year and working on a Comp Sci degree. When I finish it out I'd like to stay in Portland. Just wondering what the job market is like there. I hear it's hard to get jobs even in tech - but I find it hard to believe.
