The Newsroom had a storyline about PRISM

I was watching The Newsroom and in episode 8 they have a story line about a source in the NSA who has evidence on a big data program used to illegally wiretap Americans.

It is not exactly as PRISM, but pretty darn close. It was to be expected that the American government was doing such a thing but I found it remarkable that it was so close.
