Why haven't schools changed since 1843?

Steve Jobs realized that K-12 education was the final frontier untouched by modern technology. It's time for that to change.

The problem: Schools today run on legacy infrastructure which is an impossible platform for hackers to build on. We're on a mission to replace the terrible things that developers have to do today (think nightly CSV FTP transfers) with APIs that feel more like Facebook's or Stripe's. Take a look at our documentation - https://getclever.com/developers/docs/

Thousands of schools and hundreds of developers rely on Clever every day. We’re looking for a technical Product Manager to join our team and build a better platform that helps developers build and students learn.

What we're looking for:

- Technical skills. Either a degree in computer science or enough programming experience to earn the respect of excellent engineers.

- Proactive problem solving. You root out ambiguity before anyone else notices it and bulldoze through potential roadblocks in advance.

- A passion for improving education. Your edtech knowledge will be useful as you define Clever's product roadmap and work closely with schools.

- A strong belief in Clever's mission: Making it easy to bring great software to the classroom.

What Clever offers:

- A chance to revolutionize education by working with innovative schools and edtech companies

- Competitive salary and significant equity stake in well-funded, high-growth company

- A defined problem to solve, a close-knit team, and significant opportunities for growth

- Great benefits - healthcare, dental, unlimited Amazon budget, beautiful office, etc

Send us a resume, show us something you’ve built, and tell us why you are a perfect match for Clever.
