I'm wondering when a government is going to decide that clearly it knows best and take over parenting entirely.

Post-Leveson our media are too acquiescent and too afraid to take on the government. Exposing z-list celebrity affairs is still fair game, but with dwindling revenue, most newspapers don't want to rock the boat.

The BBC's been mostly the same since Gilligan and the dodgy dossier, if not earlier.

Except the Daily Mail has not only taken on the government, they've bent them over a barrel and given them a right good seeing to until they've given them exactly what they want.

Not just on this, either, but on other "holy quests" like the Liverpool Care Pathway.

I second this decision. Porn should not be enabled by default from ISP. I have families ruined because of porn watching children/dads! They know how to bypass URL filtering etc.,

Very soon there will be internet plans w/porn (with fair usage limit) and without (unlimited)
I expect a large uptick in VPN users from the UK...
seriously. DC is such a moralist. I hope everyone just start's using TOR and this whole thing backfires.
Surely its a first step to banning TOR without explicitly saying so?
