Snowden Private Plane Funding

Could Snowden use Kickstarter(or some other crowd-funding source)to raise money to hire a private plane to settle in a more permanent location? (Russia is only good for a year) it would take around 180K USD according to some new sources. Seems like a worthwhile try. I bet the US would try and cut-off Visa-MC payments, but it might work.
