[Ask HN] Tell us about your personal resets

1 points by cJ0th ↗ HN
We talk about the importance of passion all the time. Way too many people still feel miserable, though. I think arguing about passion isn't thought provoking anymore and thus has little power to bring about change.

Let's change perspective and talk about life resets. Some people might argue that these are part of "finding your passion" but, again, let's not make this thread about passion and focus on the reset phenomenon instead to perhaps gain some insights.

Feel free to write stories you want to share or answer some of those questions:

How often did you start your life from scratch?

What did it entail (new location? new friends? new lifestyle?)

Were your restarts a worthwhile learning experience or did you rather improve for the worse?

What environments did change you permanently?

Did you really begin anew or do you just keep running away from the same problems?

Consequences?

(The questions above are certainly not very sophisticated but perhaps allow for some interesting answers)
