Ask HN: When is too early to sumbit to Techcrunch

I'm working on a web app which, I hope, will one day be profitable. I was wondering how far down the line you have to be before submitting your profile to Techcrunch. Would they only take your venture seriously if you are an established company with a reasonably high turnover, or with investment?

Basically, it's just me just now working hard on a first release of my app in my own time.
