Google isn't actively using the trademarks, it is responding to a query containing the trademark. Passive, not active. If that doesn't make it acceptable, then that particular law is broken, IMHO. If company B is using company A's trademark as a keyword, then by all means sue the crap out of company B. They've done it actively, and they've done it deliberately.
