meta Dev Kit 1 is a full feature augmented reality eyeglass kit that allows users to interact with the world using natural user interface (NUI) techniques such as hand gestures. It consists of a 3D range sensing camera, a 3D stereo head-mounted display, head tracking sensors, and an SDK to enable fast prototyping of augmented reality applications. To allow for seamless interaction, robust and high performance tracking is one of the key steps toward any augmented reality application. Our mission is to provide algorithms, an SDK and a hardware developer kit to enable such technology.
