Who stiffed who is relative and incredibly debatable, did you see that site? Looks like a mashup of ad banners.

jokes aside, where is the backstory? Not that this is news but it 'ould be an interesting story and experience dealing with difficult customers which i dont actually have to deal with is always welcome.

Its a mashup of ad banners because it looks like it's really the store's weekly circular?

Hope the owner pays his bills now. Don't piss off the people who work for you...

Simple but effective way to get the owner to pay up. Although I remember seeing this on reddit a week or two back, so maybe not that effective? Just out of curiosity what are the legal ramifications of doing this? Could it be considered defacing the site and some how fall under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, or since the owner never payed/didn't pay the full amount is the site still the property of the dev?
would love to hear from the developer/designer some backstory about this.
I'm a fan of requiring payment before pushing to production / launch.
Didn't we already discuss this here? And everyone was whining about how horrible and unprofessional and maybe illegal it was? It was annoying.

At least this discussion is shaping up quite differently so far.

Oops, didn't realize.

I thought HN has a filter for that. I did a search and I didn't see it come up.

Sorry.
