Ask HN: GF is unemployed (programmer)

Hello,

My girlfriend is working in a not respectable profession and I want her to stop working in that industry.

She never finish school in her home country and now have graduated from a community/online university(which I paid for her). I am also teaching her programming.

Because it is really hard for her to get a proper job and visa in my country, I am considering to emigrate to the US with her. I know I can find a job easily but I do not know about her.

Do you guys have any advice?
