Ask HN: Making money with developer/writer duo

Simply put, I am horrible at making money from my own ideas/projects. My wife is freelance writer and doing a great job at it however I can't get rid of the notion that she should be able to take her talent of writing about anything and use it to make money for herself with my aid.

A blog is an obvious choice but I cannot say I know how to take a blog from a blog with no visitors to something that can generate money. Are there any other routes to take? What would you do if someone could provide you with unlimited content?
