Regalii seeking Senior Engineers to revolutionize the remittance industry

ABOUT US

Our mission is to radically improve the lives of Latino immigrants in the US by providing them with an revolutionary new method to support their families in Latin America. Every year Latino immigrants send 69 billion dollars from the US to Latin America to support their families, existing cash transfer solutions are expensive, inconvenient and dangerous. Regalii provides a safer, cheaper and more convenient way for immigrants to support their families using SMS gift codes.

THE POSITION

We are looking for exceptional software engineers to help us build out our platform and expand into the rest of Latin America. You will have broad autonomy in how you execute the job and will have direct input into the direction we take as a company.

As one of our first technical hires you will be given substantial equity and an excellent salary. We are based in New York City.

YOU

Our ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with previous tech lead experience. You have exceptional Ruby on Rails and general web application skills but are also a generalist with a very solid command of computer science fundamentals and knowledge of a number of languages. Ideally you are excited about the potential of technology to bring about social change and are particularly interested in mobile technology for the developing world.
