About You:
We’re looking for an experienced “full-stack” individual with a passion for marketing to create, test, and measure results that can promote our services. You’ll devise new customer acquisition strategies to get the word out about MobileWorks and use a variety of retention tactics to make sure our customers stay engaged. You know how to quantitatively measure your efforts to evaluate campaign progress, understand the science of A/B testing, and are confident in your ability to devise and lead marketing initiatives. You’re not necessarily an expert in every aspect of marketing, but you have to have enough exposure and experience with the marketing “full-stack” to make good decisions.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a company-wide marketing strategy targeting small and medium sized businesses
* Systematically test and measure the success of all marketing initiatives Design, launch, and evaluate email marketing campaigns
* Increasing organic traffic through SEO activities, including writing compelling blog content and designing landing pages Overseeing event marketing efforts
* Work with the leadership team to craft and execute a communications and positioning strategy Create and host useful webinars for potential new and existing customers
* Create a variety of marketing collateral such as case studies, white papers and reports
* Competitive analysis
* Press outreach
It might be a match if you:
* Have at least 4 years experience working in a hands-on quantitative customer acquisition or retention marketing role
* Are an all-rounder with strong analytical skills, creative ideas, and business savvy
* Experience with both strategic and tactical aspects of business-to-business marketing, ideally for a software or technology company
* Experience using analytics tools such as Kissmetrics, and Google Analytics and A/B testing tools like Optimizely
* Self-starter, with the ability to get things done in an unstructured startup environment
* You just “get” marketing and branding for the Web -- and you have a great sense how to help others to make sense of it
* Outstanding writing skills: you can create convincing case studies and can write interesting blog posts
* Have a bachelors degree in marketing, business, or economics, or equivalent experience
Bonus points if you:
* Have an “entrepreneurial spirit” (worked at a startup, founded a company, started an organization, or have demonstrated leadership experience that demonstrate your entrepreneurial initiative).
* Have PR experience, either in-house or with an agency
* Have experience using Marketo to generate inbound demand and Salesforce to manage and assign leads
