IOS 7 now blocking third-party Lightning cables (9to5mac.com)

I haven't had any issues with mine. Granted, mine is from Amazon so there is a high chance it's "certified". Still considerably cheaper than the cables from Apple.

I'm not sure this is legal, or should be legal. I hope the EU will do something about this.
