UI on the web is dead

Literally every single update to an existing website/app is less usable/aesthetically pleasing from the one it replaced.

Stupid shit like making keyboard shortcuts unusable (yahoo mail). And this new ios update is horrific.

Am i the only one that has noticed this? Im so sick of this crap.
