Ask HN: How Can I help startups?

Hi All,

I'm a research assistant in the field of innovation management at a university in Sweden.

I had a chance to explore and study the innovation processes at several companies in computer and defense industy. I also launched a blog and had a great deal of visitors, and really liked to contribute to the industry. My area, specifically, is risk management for bottom-up innovations. My idea is launching a company and trying to work as an accelerator for startup companies, and I will definitely do it for free.

But I'm still not so sure about how can I contribute to startup companies... I know that many of you guys have some ties with startups... Please, feel free to give your suggestions and ideas... I need them :)
