Ask HN: Any investors interested in looking at an international opportunity?

I know this is a weird route to take, but I don't live in the Valley. I only know you guys through HN.

I have a friend that is looking to raise some money for his company.

They have achieved a lot with the resources they have - and they have achieved a decent amount of traction....but they need an injection of capital to floor it.

Right now, all of the traction is local to the Caribbean but they have the potential to disrupt the news industry in general.

They are cash flow positive, but the opportunity is huge - kind of a land grab type opportunity.

I know I am some random dude on the internet, but I would ask you to just look at my profile, look at my web presence - and I think you will see that I am the real deal.

I build MVPs for clients for a living, and while this one wasn't a client, I have a decent amount of experience at looking at opportunities.
