Butter Systems (YC S13) is Hiring Engineers

Butter Systems is a Y-Combinator Summer 2013 startup that is building a better service model for restaurants. We let customers order from an Android tablet that sits at the restaurant table. Our digital menus are fully-customizable to bring each restaurant's brand to life. We are backed by a number of well known angel investors and institutions, including Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors, Google's Sergey Brin, and the Mokhtarzada brothers (Webs.com).

Positions in SF:

Software Engineer (Android): 80k-100k, 0.5% - 2% The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in CS or related field, and has at least one-two years work experience. Main responsibilities include building the customer-facing native Android tablet experience. This requires an android developer with a great eye for design. Android experience preferred, iOS acceptable. Backend is in node.js and mongodb.

Software Engineer (Web, full-stack): 80k-110k, 0.5% - 5% The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in CS or related field, and has has at least one-two years work experience. Responsibilities include working on an api-driven web app that restaurants use to manage their menus/orders and view analytics. Familiarity with backbone.js, node.js, twitter bootstrap, and mongodb highly preferred.
