Responsibilities: - Innovation and development on key optical technologies, particularly for wearable head-mounted display system - Support Operations/Manufacturing on troubleshooting, optical metrology, and methodology - Communication with optical suppliers to ensure optical quality on the products - Leading role on planning and technical program management - Analysis, product design, engineering experimentation, creation of engineering documentation on all optical related products

Specific Knowledge/Skills: - Optical engineer with experience in optical design, implementation and manufacturing support experience. - Knowledge and proficient on optical design CADs (OSLO, ZeMax, tools of your own choosing) - Master of Science or higher degree in optics, opto-electronics with training in opto-mechanics. Knowledge and deep understanding of physics, geometrical, and diffraction optics completed by practical design and experience in laser and imaging containing optical devices are required for this position. - Industrial image lens design experience is preferred. Knowledge of all related to opto-electronics and mechanics signal transfer function analysis as well as capability to apply it to developing system is essential. - Capable to work independently with mature and responsible attitude regarding assigned task or project. - Solid knowledge and experience is required regarding optical laboratory instrumentation, experimentation techniques, optical metrology and measuring methodology - Familiar with optical manufacturing process and techniques - Demonstrate solid background in the area of opto-electronics related to patents, inventions and other unconventional technical ideas.
