Having this problem too, it is US$1200 minimum in my country for the repair... Cant even get my computer to boot for a couple of days now

There are hundreds and hundreds (thousands?) of us with the same issue and Apple has done NOTHING to help.

Can't get computer to boot because of a defective video card. Apple need to acknowledge this or they going to loss a lot of fans.
