I am deeply skeptical about nootropics for long-term use, and even more about 'natural' nootropics. It smacks just a little too much of woo and pseudiscience.
The self-deconstruction by the post author is interesting, if nothing else.

Sorry, but it's not that simple. It's nowhere near that simple. And playing with the levels of neurotransmitters in the brain is, while definitely useful, just a blunt force approach - like using a hammer to drive in uneven screws...
