The economy sucks, great web talent (designers, developers, copywriters, marketers, seo people) are getting laid off and freelancers are struggling for work. Let's pool our contacts! @enomar, I didn't realize the length of the post mattered. I'm only submit very wordy blog posts from now on.

As a contract developer, I have been fortunate enough to find new clients here and there despite the current economic slide. Suck on that, economy!

That being said, I appreciate what these guys are doing and believe that online communities like theirs (and HN) are a great way to connect with people. Perhaps we could use this thread for that purpose...
