Remove annoying google results?

Today I'm using my mom's windoze computer. When I do a search on google. It gives me a full page of commerical crap results!!! It has something to do with the query parameters 'rls' or 'sourceid' that google submits with the query. I can't believe google is annoying me like this, esp when the new kid bing is on the block. Is there a simple way to stop this?
