Why would stackoverflow delete a question that had answers and 6k views?

This morning I decided to see how helpful the stackoverflow community would be. I posted a simple but odd question, "How to type curly braces?"

And the replies and comments surprised in the positive sense of the word. People made a real effort to answer this seemingly trivial question. And other people seemed to like it as well since after a couple of hours the question had almost 6000 views.

And then some moderator decided to remove the question. Which struck me as strange. Why do you think stackoverflow removed my question and do you think it is right?

Because the moderators on SO are insane. They've ruined a once great website.
None of those answers are very helpful... In fact the one with 30 points thought you were trolling. Probably the mod who deleted your post thought so too.
