Do we need to think beyond the PC to really innovate? (trendcatching.com)

A lot of the innovation we've seen over the last few years in the web apps space seems to have slowed down a bit (the techcrunch 40 was won by a personal finance site for gods sake). So - do we need to start thinking more radically e.g. wearable computing.
