Why is Google Funding Grover Norquist, Heritage Action and ALEC? (prwatch.org)

tldr; Don't be evil is the Google motto and they are supporting some conservative groups. Conservatives are all Koch brother puppets and the Kochs are evil, therefore Google is evil.

It seems large companies in the US need to give money to the lobbyists otherwise they have trouble.

Regarding the high standing of Google in the hacker community I wonder why this news article is not voted higher.
