My thoughts on starting up my independent game studio

So after almost a year of deliberation I finally decided to quit my job and attempt to follow my dreams by starting up an independent game development studio.

I wanted to mark the occasion and record my thoughts so I wrote a blog post. I posted it here because I thought it might be of interest to Hacker News readers and in particular people who are considering taking more risks or starting up something.
