White House Petition to End Warrantless Email Search (petitions.whitehouse.gov)
The outdated Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) says government can read our emails without a warrant. The law was written over 25 years ago, before the services we use today even existed. This petition calls on the Obama Administration to support ECPA reform. The petition needs 100,000 signatures by December 12 to require a response from the White House.
