Clickbait on Hacker News: "How to make $800/mo from three lines of code"
Hacker News is the only upvote/downvote news aggregator I follow. I find that the Reddits, Buzzfeeds, and Mashables the world focus too much on getting clicks and shares. It creates a focus on something other than getting the truth out, negating the benefits that crowdsourcing news selection brings.
Could we all make a conscious effort to not upvote titles like the one that made the top of the page today?
