Ask HN: accidently clicked on malicious app now what?

so came across this website >> bitcoindriveprice.com naively downloaded the app and executed .exe Much to my surprise it did nothing, no antivirus notifications either.

So now am thinking something is cooking disguise. Any suggestions to handle such scenarios ?
