Any legal motivation for copyright notice with future date?

A user here has the following in his profile:

All comments Copyright © 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2018, 2023 [...]

I have never before seen a copyright notice with future dates specified. Is there any legal motivation here, or is it humor?
