Ask HN: What effect will hacker bootcamps have on the job market?

My question is pretty simple and has two parts. It seems that there's a good number of Ruby/Rails camps all around the US that are graduating 20-30 students every 30-60 days.

1. What will the long-term effect be on the RoR junior dev market?

2. How can these students best prepare themselves for what may become a more competitive market?
