This looks like some kind of scammy thing, but I've known a lot of top people from a lot of top schools and there's nothing like a Princeton alumn for school loyalty (me personally I went to state schools and have been dodging the fundraisers for years and years)
I promise we aren't trying to be scammy. But I definitely appreciate the cynicism.
I have little interest in collecting or doing anything with alumni email addresses.
We are trying to validate that there is any demand for a directory like this for our pitch to Alumni Offices.
Any responses we would get would be, by definition, a subset of the alumni office list. We want to build a platform for alumni offices to showcase accomplishments to their communities.
Presumably there would be a correlation between alumni pride and fundraising, but we don't want that to be shoved down peoples throats.
