If you want to use Google Maps in your car, get a phone dock and program your destination into the app before you leave your departure point. Simple.
i embedded a tablet into my car dash to avoid the holding the phone in the hand - ive done the hand thing, and its def dangerous.
shortly though most cars will have the mapping function built into the dash and everyone will get caught cheating on their spouse when they check your map history
