How to use GPG to sign arbitrary text (like web contact emails)
0. Create your important, world-altering message
1. gpg --clearsign --armor
2. Unlock your secret key with your passphrase
3. Paste the text exactly as was the contents of the entire previous message, since any single character changed (an extra line added or removed) will make the signature verification fail
4. One-and-only-one [Enter]
5. [Ctrl]+[D] mac/linux/bsd or [Ctrl]+[Z] win
6. Append the -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- ... -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- to the end of the text
7. Send it and revel in your new-found non-repudiation
