I think we need more evidence than "they both use normalize and use odd caching techniques" before we can 100% say that they're both Kim's brainchildren.

DNS doesn't matter because if Kimble did hypothetically create this website, he would not want it to be affiliated with him directly. instra.com (baboom registrar) is in partnership with Kim on the Mega site, so it would make sense for him to use another domain registrar for the website.

That's not true... Very commonly used when using icon fonts/web fonts.

Unlikely. Kim Dotcom loves himself so much that he would have made a huge deal over the product had it been his.
