Twitch (YC S07) is hiring a Senior Web Engineer

Twitch is the world's largest community for video game streaming, with more than 45 million monthly viewers. We connect gamers from around the world by allowing them to broadcast, watch, and chat with each other.

At Twitch, Web Engineers implement functionality that encompasses almost all aspects of our product. We’re looking for engineers who understand all aspects of the web stack - from the minutiae of HTML, CSS and Javascript, to how to build secure, robust and high-performance server-side APIs that can support all of our different clients.

We're currently in the process of migrating from a traditional Rails server-render architecture to an EmberJS application backed by APIs.

=== Requirements

3+ years of professional software development or equivalent experience

Fluency in Javascript and web-based Javascript frameworks such as Ember.js, Angular, Backbone, JQuery, and others

Experience designing and implementing web-based APIs

Experience with Postgresql (or other RDBMS)
