Just the other day, on the HN homepage, there were about 4 links to different 2048 iterations. Y Combinator prides itself as a place for innovation and solving really complex problems. When will the 2048 frenzy on HN end?

Flappy Bird popularity took about a month from beginning to end. I suspect 2048 is going to take around the same amount of time.
