PG please take HN with you when you step down

This community suffers from content marketers. Penalizing all new comments misses a likely cause of bad discussion - bad content, like the content that is written for HN and then shilled to the front page of HN every day in growing numbers.

Many of the companies doing it are YC. There is an obvious ethical dilemma there so please consider separating HN from YC by taking it with you preferably before the entire front page becomes one continual advertising campaign.

Examples right now include:

- "Look we made a version of 2048 too" by instapainting

- "Hacking Hack on Heroku" by Heroku

- "NoSql, Erlang and Technologies effect on culture" by NoSQL vendor

Nobody gets smarter discussing advertisements every day except the marketing shills writing and submitting them.
