Ask HN: How do I quit my job? ("unpaid overtime crew" update)

I have realized I need to quit. My contract is up in a month, but during this month I could REALLY use the time as a bunch of my side projects are coming to an end and there's a few incubators I need to apply to / pitch my startups at a few events, and I can't do it while working at this job.

Monday I plan to quit but how? My manager loosely threatened me with letting my go while still paying out the rest of my contract, which would be ideal.
