Ask HN: Looking for illustrators/designers for a collaborative project

Hello HN,

My name is Ivo and I am the curator of QuoteVadis (http://quotevadis.com) a collection of quotes, wisdom and inspiration, which started back in 2012. QV got featured in SmashingMagazine, SwissMiss and Tumblr Spotlight.

I am looking for illustrators or designers willing to volunteer a bit of their time and illustrate a quote by their choice using any technique or style they like. They will be featured with a link, short bio and a photo.

My ultimate goal is creating a collaborative platform which anyone can use to share their creative genius, and inspire both with a meaningful quote and their art.

I cannot offer any payment and the whole idea around this is for people to do it on their one time, fueled by their own desire to do something meaningful. I am developer myself and started QuoteVadis on my own time trying to create something of value, rather than just getting paid.
