Ask HN: would you be interested in a simple fashion guide for men?

Problem: Our industry (tech) isn't really known for sharp dressing. People either don't care, don't know how or think that it would be difficult or expensive to dress better.*

Solution: for those that don't know how or think that it would be difficult or expensive to dress better- a simple, well organized guide to dressing well for men.

Possible topics to cover: - how different clothing articles should fit (including choosing clothing to match your body shape) - how to shop online and offline - dressing for different occasions - clothing care - developing a wardrobe

I would imagine this as either an eBook or a interactive web book in the style of http://book.discovermeteor.com/

Would you be willing to pay for this?

* I realize that "better" is a difficult concept to define or measure, but lets assume it means wearing clothing that fits you well and being dressed appropriately for different situations.

Why is this going to be different from r/mfa or StyleForum or the hundreds of other books on fashion that exist? In other words, what do you have to bring to the table so that I would buy your book to learn about fashion? What is your USP?
I think it would be interesting to make the guide interactive, provide better pictures and details and taylor it to tech people- make it almost like an API reference.
Yes please! But make it dirt simple, I dont want to think about fashion. I send in a selfie of myself in my undies, input my height and weight and the system gives me back a full set of clothes to buy, what they cost and where I can find them closest to my location, optimized for a maximum cost/benefit ratio. Anything more involved than that (such as reading an eBook) and I'm not interested.
If you could present fashion in a way that appealed to me as a programmer, I'd buy it at any price.

Whenever I try to investigate this area, it seems like fashion and software engineering are both accelerating very fast in completely opposite directions. Inevitably I get dejected and give up.

Cool site, but I'm talking about a guide that doesn't overwhelm you and guides a user through the process of improving one's fashion.
the problem with that is fashion is subjective, so someone could go that guide with a completely different idea of what fashion is and find the guide completely contrary to what they originally thought. A Q&A site allows you to get a second opinion on things without having to treat it as gospel
