This seems like the complete antithesis of how the "learn to code" movement has centered around bringing women into the field.

That said, though I may not be in direct support I can definitely see this getting more 12-13 year old boys to gain traction they may not have otherwise. Two edges to the sword, I guess.

Aren't april fools normally restricted to the first? Though, hopeful as I am that this is a joke, it really looks like they've run with the concept (videos and everything seem to be evident).

I am not sure at all it's a joke, too much effort for that... The address they put in their ToS is the same as a co-working space in SF.
