Ask HN: do we need a Posix version of Amazon S3?

Yes, I know, s3fs is already out there but it's costly due to how it uses s3 and it is not so performant at least. Still, do you/we really need a mountable version of Amazon S3 or we're already changing all our apps to integrate s3(or one of its competitors)?
