We are looking for an awesome frontend dev in the portland area. We work with great brands and have a lot of fun. What are we doing wrong? We find some great talent but they all get taken by big dev firms. We are a small company that is looking to grow but just can't find the talent.

offer them a career path. oftentimes at agencies, us frontend devs get all the grunt work but no respect.

that is the plan. As we are small this is one of the first big hires for the dev team, and offering to make a big impact and help us grow, not just be a cog in a wheel. But it seems like the devs we keep getting serious about bail to work on big teams that I would feel would give the the grunt like feeling.
