I'm doing research to figure out who's struggling and who's doing really well with their development team.

If you're struggling to get good results from your developers, can you share details of the problems you're having here?

Seems like communication (getting information about work done) is one of the biggest problems I've seen. I'm curious to know what else people struggle with.
